Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Lab Science TechnicianRC Hospital & Clinics is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Lab Science Tech (MLS). The MLT or MLS will perform and report tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, on patients of all ages. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, coworkers, and others.MLT or MLS for RC Hospital & Clinics is a with day and evening shifts with call rotation. Position includes benefits and competitive wages. Position open until filled. An EOE/AA employer and provider.Some duties may include: Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal or abnormal components. Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results. Operate, calibrate, or maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, or computer-controlled analyzers. Collect and study blood samples to determine the number of cells, their morphology, or their blood group, blood type, or compatibility for transfusion purposes, using microscopic techniques.
