Position Description: This position reports directly to the Controller. This position is responsible for accurate and timely processing of daily client cash collections. This includes processing checks, wires, ACHs, and credit card payments for posting to the accounting system. Additionally, this role is responsible for daily coding of daily bank expense activity in GP. This role works collaboratively and closely with all associates in a team environment. This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with a thriving company. This is a non-exempt position. Principal Accountabilities: Gather, track, and process client cash receipts for bank deposits. Enter client cash receipts to Microsoft GP daily. Code bank transfers and bank-related expense activity with the designated general ledger account. Additional Responsibilities: Manage external client requests from shared inbox folders. Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses when needed. Cross-train on other finance roles for overall comprehension of accounting needs as well as coverage when necessary. Review and recommend procedures to enhance efficiency. Qualifications and Required Skills : Extremely detail – oriented. Demonstrated ability to implement goals and meet deadlines. Ability to solve problems independently. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, diverse, and changing environment. Desire to learn about the industry and support the goals of the organization. Established and proven experience in working with Microsoft Office. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in a professional office setting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools Experience in Microsoft GP or other accounting software is a plus. Powered by JazzHR
