We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented mortgage loan partner for our dynamic lending team. This position blends the roles of loan processor and loan officer assistant to provide a consistent experience for the buyer. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, have years of mortgage processing experience, a can-do attitude, and happily shepherd buyers through the loan process. You'll maintain at least weekly contact with them, work with them to obtain documents to clear conditions, and answer questions as needed. Responsibilities: • Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval• Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application• Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close• Secure property and loan documentation to process mortgage loan files such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial Qualifications: • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans• At least 2 years of loan processing experience required• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills• Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills• Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation: $90,000+ ($35,000 base plus bonuses) About Company: The MMY Branch of CrossCountry Mortgage (Middleton office) has a unique partnership with the top real estate team in South Central Wisconsin.
