Position: Java API DeveloperLocation: Phoenix, AZDuration: 6+ Months Job Description: 5+ years of Software Development experience using Java 8, JDBC, Spring MVS, Spring Boot, Maven, SL4J/LOG4J is requiredExperience with Mainframe – JCL, COBOL, IMS DB, DB2 ZOSExperience with API development using RESTHands-on experience with UI development using Angular (or) React (Angular is more important though)Experience with Splunk, Elk or AppDevelopmentDemonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile or other rapid application development methodsDemonstrated experience on No-SQL databases (E.g. Cassandra, Couchbase)Demonstrated experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) tooling such as Jenkins pipelines, XLRelease, LaraAble to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers on solution and design (communication at least 7/10)Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problemsAbility to enable business capabilities through innovationDemonstrated willingness to learn new technologyies and takes pride in how fast they develop working softwareTroubleshooting issues like muilti-threading, memory utilization etc. and working with product support teams to resolve problems and perform root cause analysis Plusses: Demonstrated experience with Middleware Utilities (e.g., Data Power, MQ/MQ Series) is a plusExperience with Financial Transaction processing technology and industryExperience specifically from VISA is a HUGE plusPowered by JazzHR
