Part Time Management Accountant Job Description We are currently seeking a Part Time Management Accountant to join our clients team in Leicestershire. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work part: time hours circa 20 per week from the companies Head Office location. Job Duties: Preparing and analysing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitoring and reviewing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Providing financial advice and support to management, helping them make informed business decisions. Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Preparing financial statements for statutory reporting purposes. Assisting with the preparation of year: end financial statements and liaising with external auditors. Managing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable. Assisting in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls. Supporting the finance team with ad: hoc tasks and projects. Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of financial and management accounting principles. Knowledge of UK accounting regulations and standards. Ability to interpret and analyse financial data. Experience with financial reporting and budgeting software. Proficient in using spreadsheets and other financial tools. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Preferred Qualifications: Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. Experience with ERP systems. Working Conditions: This is a part: time position, 20 hours per week. The work environment is office: based, operating within standard office hours. Salary: A GBP 30,000 : A GBP 35,000 per annum (pro: rata based on part: time hours).
