Job Description: Buying and Finance Administrator Job Title: Buying and Finance Administrator Location: Leicester Job Type: Permanent, Full: Time, Office Based, Term Time Salary: A GBP 24,294 : A GBP 25,979 per annum Benefits: 26 days of holiday + Stat Holiday, 37 hours per week, SUPERB Pension Job Duties: Processing purchase orders and invoices Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including payment details and supplier information. Assisting with budget management and monitoring expenditure. Collaborating with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and source suppliers. Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favourable terms and conditions. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels. Supporting the finance team with reconciliations, data analysis, and other financial tasks as required. Responding to queries and resolving issues related to purchasing and finance. Adhering to financial regulations and compliance standards. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar buying or finance administration role. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Working Conditions: The role is based in Leicester. The position is full: time, with an expected 37 hours of work per week.
