Salary on offer: Junior and Mid: Level Embedded Software Engineer: GBP 30,000 : GBP 50,000 per annum Senior Embedded Software Engineer: GBP 50,000 : GBP 65,000 per annum The role: This is an exciting technically hands on Embedded Software Engineering role, as the successful Embedded Software Engineer will be joining the current team of professional developers delivering a leading: edge development which will revolutionise the company's product portfolio and provide significant growth to the organisation. Key Skills: : 2:5+ years minimum industry experience : Experience of development real time embedded software : Embedded Software Programming in C, C++ : C++ 11/14 and languages : Strong Plus : Driver level interfaces : SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485 : RTOS experience (e. g. Thread X, Azure RTOS, Free RTOS) : Bare metal development experience : Test and debug of H/W : Understanding and Experience of the full software development lifecycle : Strong Plus Desirable nice to have skills: : Development of low: level software drivers : Familiar with ARM M: Cortex or similar processors. : STM32 experience would be an advantage : Experience of setting up embedded web servers : Knowledge of wireless radio interfaces/stacks BLE, Bluetooth, Zigbee or similar Wi: Fi technologies : TCP/IP Protocols : Principles of Audio electronics / systems : Audio protocols e. g. AES, AVB, DANTE, VOIP : Experience with audio DSP, filtering, post processing : Familiarity with Agile development : Familiar with Jenkins : TDD / BDD : IAR Embedded workbench Benefits Package.
