HR Officer Location: Rishworth Salary: RW18 A GBP 31,865 : RW20 A GBP 33,153 per annum FTE Our client is a forward thinking and innovative UK day and boarding school that retains traditional values. Set in the heart of West Yorkshire the School has occupied magnificent buildings in 140 acres of beautiful countryside for the last 300 years. The Role Striving to grow an excellent culture where staff wellbeing, diversity and inclusion remain at the heart of the schools ethos and practices. To facilitate the safer recruitment process, including: upkeep of the Single Central Register updating of Job Descriptions drafting and placing job adverts co: ordinating interviews obtaining references and completing pre: employment checks preparing appointment letters and contracts To oversee the induction and probation processes for new colleagues and record compliance, to include; computer access system access key distribution provide a general warm welcome to the School community. To maintain training records, continued professional development records and appraisal records of all colleagues. To maintain personnel records and reconcile payroll to the Single Central Register as part of monthly reporting. To record all sickness and absence data, create monthly personnel amendments report to include sickness data to be reconciled against month end reports. To ensure personnel data is correct and reconciled across multiple systems each month, to include GDPR compliance. To facilitate return to work interviews with line managers. Advise on and run capability and disciplinary processes, including taking the role of disciplinary officer or investigating officer where required.
