Read on!The Accounting Associate role is a remote, Part Time (30 hours per week), non-exempt position that allows for a flexible schedule during business hours.Are you:• Independent, proactive and have the drive to go the extra 10%?• Tech savvy with a passion for learning cutting edge accounting technology and software?• Resourceful with a knack for problem solving?• Collaborative and customer service oriented?• Energized in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple clients?• Curious with a thirst for knowledge?• Innovative, always looking for ways to improve processes to make things better?Responsibilities: Vary by client• Exceed client expectations by providing next level accounting services.• Perform full cycle cash and accrual basis accounting including managing a/r, a/p, payroll and monthly close.• Utilize cloud-based technologies such as QBO, BILL, Gusto, and • Assist with onboarding new clients and account cleanup.• Tackle challenging tasks such as creating and maintaining prepaid and deferred revenue schedules and reconciliations.• Stay updated on the latest developments in accounting technology.• Participate in team and one-on-one meetings and training sessions.Required Qualifications & Skills:• Minimum of an associate degree in accounting or business• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience• Strong financial analytical skills• Aptitude to learn and adopt new technology• Successful at working independently and as part of a team• Ability to manage multiple clients and responsibilities• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency with Excel is a must• Experience with QuickBooks Online, BILL, Gusto and Ramp is a plus• A dedicated office space with a reliable, high-speed internet connection• Must be based in the USWhat We Offer:• Competitive salary, with paid time off (PTO) and company paid holidays• Comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and a 401k plan with an employer match• Internet and home office stipends• Collaborative team-based work environment• Career path and advancement opportunities – a company policy of promoting from withinWhat our employees love about working at Juna:Working at Juna is AWESOME!
