What You Would Do in This Role The Senior Buyer is responsible for planning and performing procurement activities to ensure the timely purchase of materials, services and equipment to meet project requirements. Duties include: Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projects Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement while adhering to client requirements and proper procurement practices Developing and maintaining status reports Assisting with the preparation of procurement strategy documents Preparing, issuing and evaluating standard procurement documents including bid lists, requests for quotation / proposal and commercial bid evaluations Purchasing complex engineered equipment and services as well as electrical, instrumentation,.
