COMMUNITY RE-ENTRY PROGRAM (C-REP) provides support to youth and their families who may face emotional, learning, and/or behavioral challenges. C-REP teaches daily life skills, provides counseling, provides crisis management services, links individuals and families to support services within the community, and provides parenting training. Serving Cumberland, Hoke , Harnett and Lee Counties Position Summary: The Therapist, MST provides direct clinical treatment using the MST treatment model and principles. The Therapist, MST utilizes a variety of behaviorally based approaches and therapies to empower families to address challenging and/or problematic behavior and to help youth aged 12-17 make life-transforming changes in a community-based setting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Coursework and work experience that indicates knowledge of behavior health therapies and/or mental health counseling, group and family. Knowledgeable in family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral therapies theory, cognitive behavioral therapy theory, pragmatic family therapies theory, child development theory and application of all theories. Must possess the ability to engage and collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system, to maintain alignment throughout MST Treatment. Interpersonal Skills : Interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment. Promotes mutual respect and professionalism in working relationships and demonstrates the ability to maintain positive interactions with clients, coworkers/staff and stakeholders. Must maintain high level of client confidentiality. Must possess the ability to adapt to change, accept and respond to ongoing supervision and training, be accountable for given tasks and responsibilities, manage time effectively, meet required expectations, and demonstrate the ability to act independently. Travel Requirements : Home and Community based travel required. Some remote work may be available. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing. Essential Job Duties Time % 1. Conduct MST assessment including review of referral information, identifying, and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context. Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement. Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process.50% 2. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the nine MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process. Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your MST Team.20% 3. Manages caseload by scheduling appointments, evaluating client progress in session, and making recommendations to treatment team. Completes and maintains timely documentation according to federal, state, and agency guidelines. Comfortable working with a diverse community of clients and that have access to 24 hours a day/7 days week support as needed.15% 4. Participate in all MST training, supervision, consultation, and MST Therapist development activities. Serves as a team member for service planning and actively participates in staffing, team coordination and review to ensure cohesiveness in services rendered on the behalf of the agency for the population served.10% 5.
