Job Quick Facts* Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery* Facility Location: Medford, Oregon* Board Requirement: BC/BE (If not BC, w/in 2 years of residency)* License Requirement: OR* Certification requirement: BLS, ATLS, ACLS* Reason for Need: Supplemental* Coverage Period: Apr. 6 - May 18, 2020* Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call* Shift schedule:- Mon: OR, 8 AM to 5 PM- Tue: Cath Lab, 8 AM to 12 PM; Clinic, 1 PM - 4 PM- Wed: Cath Lab, 8 AM to 4 PM- Thur: Clinic, 8 AM to 4 PM* Call schedule: 3 days ER; 9 days Clinic* Call Type: Beeper* % of practice: 95% Adult, 5% Trauma* Ave. no. of clinic patients per day: 13 - 16; Scheduled - 14; Add-ons - 1 to 2* Ave. no. of surgeries per day: 4 - 6* No. of physicians in group: 2; Mid-levels - 3* Provider is required to supervise PAs* Lab and X-ray on-site* Support Staff: 1 Clinic RN, 2 Clinic MAs* Hospital privileges required: Yes* Time needed to obtain privileges: 30 days* No. of beds: 168* EMR: Epic* Will consider BCGS or Cardiothoracic with Vascular experience* Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
