Do you enjoy providing technical customer support for both internal and external customers? Are you experienced identifying faults and maintaining mechanical and electrical assemblies? Do you have an aptitude to provide mechanical and electrical software troubleshooting on technical customer solutions? Would you be happy to frequently travel to various UK and International customer locations to perform onsite installation and training? The Role: We are currently looking for an Installation and Service Engineer to join our Process Equipment Division. You will be responsible for various system installations across Europe, troubleshooting both mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, as well as providing technical support for both our internal and external customers. Role expectations: Provide system installation and support for both KJLC/KDF PVD tools Trouble-shooting of any level mechanical, electro-mechanical assemblies or coating systems Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications Interaction with customers regarding service enquiries via phone, email and video-conferencing Attendance to customer sites to perform service work Training of customers on technical subjects (e. g. software, hardware) Thorough understanding of software navigation and PC operation A thorough understanding of product schematics and operation Ability to perform helium leak detection and perform basic analysis using an Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) Customer interaction and on-site installation, service and training What we expect from you: BSc in a scientific discipline (e. g. physics, chemistry,.
