Contract type: Variable Hours - Permanent Location: Sheffield, Sheffield International Study Centre Salary: £47.32 per hour The University of Sheffield International College is seeking an enthusiastic educator with a passion for Accounting and Finance and a student-centred approach to teach Accounting and Finance modules with the Business and Economics Team. ABOUT THE ROLE Candidates are expected to be skilled in teaching materials designed to prepare students for Management and Finance degrees (e. g. MSc in HR Management, Finance and Accounting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management etc. ). The post holder will be fluent in both written and spoken English with experience administering backssments at a minimum of RQF level 3 along with a proven track record of delivering teaching in Accounting and Finance modules within UK Higher Education, Further Education, or Sixth form. Candidates should be familiar with Virtual Learning Environments (e. g. Blackboard) and digital teaching tools (e. g. Woo Clap or centimetre). Individuals who are capable of teaching related modules (e. g. Management, Economics, and Project Skills) with experience of teaching international students at RQF level 6 will be prioritised. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, strong record-keeping skills, and flexibility in managing multiple priorities under pressure. ABOUT YOU A Ph D or Master’s degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience (individuals working towards a Ph D are encouraged to apply) Experience teaching Accounting and Finance disciplines, or a related field, at RQF levels 3 and 6, or equivalent teaching experience Demonstrable success with marking, and administering backssments, at RQF levels 3 and 6, or equivalent experience Proficient use of IT for teaching administration ABOUT US Study.
