Finance Officer Job Type: Full Time or Part Time (Minimum 22.5 hours, maximum 37 hours per week) Location: Rotherham Salary: A GBP 24,510 : A GBP 26,546 per annum (FTE) Our client is the lead body for supporting, developing and promoting the voluntary and community sector in the Rotherham Borough. Their role is to support and develop effective action to bring about positive change in the lives of individuals and communities in the local area. The Role As Finance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient management of the organisations finances and accounting system. As well as providing financial support and contract administration to the wider team, you will also provide support to the organisations payroll services. As well as being able to undertake the financial duties required, the successful candidate must be able to work alone or as part of a small team and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including communicating financial information to non: financial colleagues clearly and concisely. As well as a good understanding of financial systems and procedures, the successful candidate must be able to manage multiple demands and have a keen eye for detail. Experience of contract management, budget monitoring and payroll, would be advantageous but are not essential.
