Howes Cave Animal Hospital is a progressive, rural, well equipped 2 doctor small animal hospital in the Capital District Region in upstate New York. We are looking for a full time NYS licensed veterinarian. Although we are a small hospital, it is a very productive practice that sees a variety of cases and a heavy surgical schedule. Surgery isn't a requirement, however if you have an interest, there is ample opportunity to apply your skills. The hospital has 3 exam rooms, a large treatment area, pharmacy/lab area and a 2 bay surgical suite with a beautiful view of the hills and valley. There are 2 experienced veterinary technicians and a great support staff waiting to assist you. We have many patients (and clients) that stay a lifetime. We strive for a friendly environment and provide excellent affordabel animal care. Our hospital has digital X-ray,new ultrasound, cold laser, a well stocked pharmacy, surgical equipment and boarding. Benefits iclude 401-K retirement, paid veterinary association dues, paid health care, CE allotment, paid time off and many opportunities to improve and expand your vertrinary career.
