Job Title: Journeyman Millwright for Industrial Shutdowns Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright for industrial shutdowns. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting, and repairing various types of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. They will also demonstrate competency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and protocols. Core Competencies and Skills Required: Technical Expertise: Certified Journeyman Millwright with relevant industry experience. In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment related to the millwright trade, along with all related safety practices. Maintenance Skills: Experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions. Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to handle heavy machinery and materials, along with standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Precision and Accuracy: Proficiency in ensuring precise alignment and adjustments of machinery for optimal performance. Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines. Experience wearing and using safety gear. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management. Education: A minimum of a Grade 12 education or equivalency is required. Responsibilities: Assemble, install, align, adjust, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
