It specializes in Education & Training, Health and Nutrition, Water & Sanitation, Income Generation, Orphans’ Support, Emergency Relief and Disaster Preparedness. DEPARTMENT The Fund Development department aims to develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income of Islamic Relief Canada (IRC) through a range of fundraising initiatives and through the acquisition and retention of donors, volunteers and community supporters. ABOUT THE MAJOR GIFTS PROGRAM Islamic Relief Canada's main focus for 2024 is to establish a successful Major Gifts Program. Seeking to increase the number and value of donations from corporations, and the number and value of donations from High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), underscoring IRC's commitment to transformational giving, developing impactful relationships, and building a team that excels in Major Gifts fundraising. Building a high-performing team that surpasses industry standards, Corporate giving, Prospecting high-net-worth individuals, and Retaining and upgrading current major donors. OVERVIEW This pivotal leadership role exists to diversify and grow Islamic Relief’s revenue and fundraising mix through the development and maintenance of an active major donor pipeline, whilst building upon a robust and successful fundraising program to meet and exceed annual targets and objectives.
