JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Senior Manager – Physician Services, the Physician Relationship Coordinator is responsible for managing physician relationships in Southern Alberta, including: supporting physician recruitment, owning physician onboarding, maintaining relationships through follow up, and supporting the Operations team by being a point of contact for physician concerns. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Physician Recruitment: Working with the Senior Manager, Physician Services, coordinate all physician recruiting in Southern Alberta: Network with local physicians (and prospective physicians) in a variety of settings, including industry events, medical school events, and other related venues Conduct all “meet and greets” with prospective physicians. Act as a champion of the internal physician referral program, ensuring frequent and appropriate communication of the program - utilize Medicentres’ existing physician and staff base to identify potential leads and recruit physicians for current and new clinics. .
