JDP is seeking a night Production Supervisor in Sioux City area! The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of an assigned team of employees to perform tasks in a food manufacturing environment.FULL RELOCATION PACKAGE-INCLUDING TEMP HOUSINGShift is 5/7p to 3/5am Sunday to Thursday with a 8.5% Shift differentialResponsibilities:Strategic Vision: Assist in crafting team goals, objectives, standards, and expectations to align with our company's strategic vision.Collaborative Excellence: Forge strong partnerships within departmental lines, working together to achieve collective team objectives.Innovative Thinking: Offer valuable insights to inspire innovative approaches for addressing daily challenges and driving continuous improvement.Accountability Champion: Drive a sense of individual accountability and ownership, encouraging our team members to deliver outstanding results.Performance Oversight: Foster accountability among direct reports, covering crucial aspects such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Policy and Procedure Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to our company's policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance.Requirements:While a degree is highly preferred, it is not a strict requirement, as we value experience and dedication.Prior experience in food manufacturing is essential, showcasing your industry knowledge and adaptability.Strong leadership experience is highly preferred, reflecting your ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.Past involvement in labor planning and scheduling is a valuable asset, highlighting your organizational and planning skills.
