Are you looking for new, interesting Principal Firmware Engineer role working on exciting technology This could be the job for you I am currently looking for a highly committed and motivated Principal Firmware Engineer to join a Berkshire based market leader in the design and manufacture of Elevator Safety and Communication products. As one of the most experienced engineers within the team, your mission will be to lead the development of new products across my clients area of refuge, elevator communications and detector product lines. With manufacturing sites in the UK, Singapore, China, US and Czech Republic and with their products having been installed in over 3 million buildings, they are known for their first-class performance, quality and reliability. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Firmware Engineer for the design and development of new and existing products. You will be involved in the design of analogue and digital circuits as well as the design of robust firmware, programming micro-controllers in C, taking these from initial concept through to manufacture. Key skills/experience for Principal Firmware Engineer, based in Berkshire: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent experience. Substantial experience in the whole lifecycle of electronic design, from specification, architectural design, component selection and PCB layout through to test and qualification.
