Our client, aFood Manufacturer, is currently seeking aQuality Assurance Supervisorfor their2nd shift.We are looking for someone reliable to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before their product reaches their consumers.Join their dynamic team where you'll play a crucial role.They will provide:Base salary of $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience, plus you will have the ability to earn a bonus of 10% of your salary paid out every 4 weeks (You can earn up to $77,000 in your first year)Career advancement opportunity(our client is expecting a high growth rate for 2024)Excellent benefits, which include a matching 401KJob Details:You will work from 3 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday thru FridayWill supervise 5 - 6 QA Technicians to ensure product safety and qualityExecute procedures to inspect and report quality issuesMonitor all operations that affect qualityMonitor sanitation standards by conducting microbial testsAssure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outputAppraise customers' requirements and make sure they are satisfiedImprove vigilance of the QA technicians and reduce product on-holdExecute food safety training program for new employees of production, sanitation, maintenance, and shipping departments to improve Good Manufactured Practices (GMPs) of the plantReport all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate actionFacilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality dataConduct microbial testing to assure the authenticity of the resultsConduct weight control studies to create audited sheets for new productsReview current standards and policiesKeep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation Ensure all legal standards are metCommunicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspectionsOptimize on KPI's (Customer complaints p/million, HACCP verification, and training production employees on GMP's)Job Requirements:BS/BA degree(Biology, Food Science or Chemistry a plus)Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at a Food Manufacturing facility(Baked goods a plus)Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standardsHACCP certification (preferred)SQF certified practitioner a plusISO 9001 experience a plusFDA experience a plusExcellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methodsGood knowledge of MS Office and databasesOutstanding communication skillsGreat attention to detail and a results-driven approachExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesReliable and TrustworthyAbility to work the required scheduleEmbark on a rewarding career with our client.
