Their multidisciplinary team of over 300 architects, town planners, landscape designers, and other specialists deliver nationally significant projects across the country. The required criteria needed to fill this Town Planner position would be to have a degree and/or a Masters in Town Planning that is RTPI accredited, while also working towards Chartership or already a Chartered Member of the RTPI. Having exposure in either the private or public sector within the industry and a Full UK driving licence and use of your own car. You must have an excellent oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities and Duties of a Town Planner: backssing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such. Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements. Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities. Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets. Undertaking planning research as required by members of the team. Maintain a programme of CPD. Interested in this or other roles in Town Planning.
