CNC Machinists Industry: Manufacturing Location: East Cowes, Isle of Wight Hours: 37 hours per week Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekend shifts Duration: Temporary ongoing Duties: Responsibility for fixture and tool setting, including programme loading and operating controllers for various 5 Axis machining centres. Machining to stringent tolerances in order to meet required specifications. Ensuring the machining process conforms to required quality and health and safety standards. Experience: Must have previous experience in all aspects of CNC machining, including 5 Axis machines with a recognised engineering apprenticeship. An overhead crane and forklift licence is desirable (however training can be given). Must be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver a high standard of work, ensuring customer requirements are met. Must have strong communication and organisation skills. Role subject to security clearance.
