Plasman Global Headquarters is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as: Indirect Material Buyer (Capital and Packaging) The Indirect Material Buyer (Capital and Packaging) or designate is responsible for sourcing and purchasing of indirect material for defined categories in accordance with Company environmental health, safety, and management policies and procedures in order to meet company objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Assigned to manage the procurement process of acquiring capital category requirements and packaging category requirements and other categories as assigned for all NA operations. Define the category strategies working with the operations team and packaging engineering teams. Search the market(s) for potential suppliers in order to develop a supply base with the optimum service level and lowest total cost. Present and implement strategies to achieve company and program cost reduction targets utilizing negotiations not limited to unit price, terms of payment, make versus buy, amortization, rebate programs, design/specification standardization, and others as identified for each category.
