Embedded Software Engineer : Manchester : GBP 30,000 : GBP 50,000 pa A growing Electronics and Electrical Design Engineering company located in Manchester are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their R and D team to design and develop electronic components and systems for the automotive, industrial and consumer electronics markets. This is an ideal excellent opportunity for a Recent Graduate or a Junior Mid: Level Embedded Software Engineer to join the team as you will have the support from Senior Engineers who will be able to assist and offer training/guidance. Responsibilities: : Writing embedded C code. : Working with a variety of different microcontrollers. : Partaking in whole design process from concept to manufacturing. : Working on new and upcoming Bluetooth/Wi Fi projects. Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills/Experience: : Degree in Electronics/ Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline : Embedded C : Experience of Microcontrollers : 8,16 and 32: bit, Renesas, Microchip, ST devices : Network interfaces : SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Zigbee, WIFI, Bluetooth, LTE, NBIo T, CAN : Embedded Environment : MPLAB X, Visual Studio, Eclipse, ARM Keil or similar : Hands: on development of code with prototype hardware : Ability to use test equipment : logic analysers, oscilloscopes and multimeters : A good understanding of electronic circuits and reading schematics : Good team and good communication skills Desirable andnice to have skills: : RTOS : Free RTOS, Thread X, Azure RTOS : Experience with revision control software : GIT, SVN, JIRA : Automotive experience : EMC : Python scripting languages : C If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as an Embedded Software Engineer, please don't hesitate.
