This position will be primarily based at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and secondarily at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH). The anticipated starting date for this appointment is February 1, 2024, or shortly thereafter. The successful candidate will be a full-time jointly credentialed member of the Division of Urology at both MGH and SHSC and participate proportionally in the call schedules of both organizations. The candidate will be eligible for an appointment to the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto at a rank of Assistant/ Associate/Full Professor, commensurate with their qualification and academic achievement. The successful candidate demonstrate a commitment to excellence in surgical education and academic administrative involvement including participating in committees at the hospital and university level. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is required. This position will build on a longstanding surgical oncology partnership that is already established between these two organizations. The successful candidate is expected to have completed, or be eligible for certification in Urologic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Candidates must have fellowship training and formal certification in a recognized Urooncology Fellowship. Candidates will have experience providing comprehensive and multidisciplinary.
