Requirements: Social Work England Registered Recognized qualification in a specific model of therapy e. g. family therapy, CBT etc. Membership of relevant professional body Experience of utilising a range of professional skills at post: qualifying level in a child and adolescent mental health setting or educational setting. Non Stops client is seeking a Social Worker who is passionate about supporting early intervention around children and young peoples mental health within Ilford. The main duties of the role involve: Supervising Education Mental Health Practitioners who deliver low: intensity CBT based guided self: help interventions to children, young people and their families. Providing whole school mental health support to school staff and the wider community Delivering evidence: based intervention directly to children, young people and their families, both individually and in groups. Mental Health Support Team sits within a well: established team of Educational Psychologists who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people in diverse and often challenging situations. The mental health team offers a consultation model of service delivery which values a systemic and relational approach.
