The Principal Accountant will contribute to the formulation and implementation of financial strategy and policy that supports the strategic goals of the Local Authority and will provide robust financial challenge and advice, influencing stakeholders to deliver solution-based outcomes. They will also promote value for money, financial awareness, budget control and the best use of service resources, supporting strong financial performance.
