Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for optimizing clinical and medical operations while supporting the physicians in providing high quality and efficient patient care. Job Responsibilities: Liaises and communicates with physicians and allied health professionals Follows all Company Policies and Procedures Provides support to the physicians in the clinical care of patients Provides appropriate feedback when necessary to help improve patient care and physician efficiency Manages diagnostic test referrals Pre-visit vitals Ensures the availability of patient records and test results for the physicians in a timely manner Gives patients vaccines and other injections at the request of the physicians Manages medication inventory Manages medical supplies inventory Manages patient flow Complete administrative duties Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: Active RPN license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario At least two (2) years of experience working with physicians in a busy practice Healthcare Provider First Aid and CPR Certification Ability to apply knowledge, skills, judgment.
