The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing complex technologies that have successfully reached the market. Green Tech Mechanical Engineer – Cambridge A growing Green Tech team, based in Cambridge, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to help development of cutting-edge technologies within the energy sector, with a focus on green tech. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing complex technologies that have successfully reached the market. Although it would be advantageous for your experience to have been in the energy sector previously, it is not essential, but you will need to have a passion for green tech and using technology to reduce the human impact on the natural environment. In addition to having experience in inventing and designing complex technologies, candidates are expected to hold a degree in a relevant field that led them into Mechanical Design. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including Industrial Designers, Electronics Engineers, Physicists, Software Engineers, and Scientists. Some projects may require you to take the lead, which is why we need someone with at least two or three years of experience; however, salary is dependent on experience, so if you have ten years plus experience we would still like to hear from you.
