Harper May is collaborating with a distinguished Business Consultancy. Our client is in search of a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting management accounting functions and driving the overall financial success of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Compile financial data, analyse variances, and prepare reports for senior management. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Collaborate with the finance team to assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide insightful analysis. Identify and report on key budget variances. Support in analysing costs and expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in maintaining cost control procedures and contribute to cost efficiency initiatives. Work closely with department heads to provide financial insights for cost management. Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Previous experience in a similar role.
