A rare opportunity for an experienced service engineer or internal service support engineer to move into a senior office based role offering technical support to clients and the field service team. Working for a market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery sold into the food industry. BASIC SALARY: up to A GBP 55,000 BENEFITS: + Annual Bonus + Company Car + Private Health LOCATION: Office based in Uxbridge. You must be commutable to Uxbridge. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Uxbridge, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Maidenhead, Richmond, Reading JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the MD and Service Manager you will be office based and responsible for providing remote technical support to both existing clients and the companies field service team. Occasional travel to client sites to assist on installations and to the companies factories in Europe for training will be required. You will also work closely with the UK Aftersales team and manufacturing sites in Europe and will be responsible for all H and S documentation. PERSON SPECIFICATION: A You will ideally be a field service engineer with hands on experience working with packaging or processing machinery used in the food industry looking for an office based role. A The company will consider an office based technical support engineer with experience of packaging machinery or a food factory maintenance engineer / supervisor. A You WILL be a qualified multi skilled engineer with an electrical bias and some knowledge of working with PLCs. A Lastly you will be technically credible, commercially astute and a good communicator. THE COMPANY: A UK and Worldwide market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery sold into the food market. This is a very well established UK sales and service office with whom I have worked for over 12 years and placed many people with. A good company full of genuinely nice people.
