Job reference number Competative salary with GBP 4,800 car allowance ( GBP 4,300 cash equivalent) per annum Up to 18 annual bonus potential Healthcare, generous annual leave offering of 27.5days, plus bank holidays Company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates Full time, 41 hours per week Permanent Heathrow Worldwide Dist Centre, Slough, SL3 8AQ Based at Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, the International Service Manager is a vital role within the International Network team and is responsible for maintaining and optimising the International linehaul plan for Royal Mail / Parcelforce into the major markets of Europe. The role The purpose of the role is to design, deploy and performance manage linehaul plans for all streams of export traffic (letters/parcels) to Europe, ensuring the continuous achievement of quality and cost targets. You'll drive operational capability and performance of the international linehaul network through proactive management of suppliers and stakeholders to identify key areas of failure, deploy improvement plans. Collaborating with the Regional Directors, you'll identify opportunities for quality improvement at the overseas delivery end of the pipeline and coordinate operational introduction of new products and services. This will also include the delivery of international distribution plans for peak periods such as Christmas, and contingency network planning in response to major events, for example adverse weather, linehaul failures. Attendance We are adopting a hybrid approach to attendance, and you will be required to attend the office at HWDC 3 days a week. Typical hours are Monday to Friday; however, you need to be flexible to meet operational requirements. This may involve occasional weekend/out of hours attendance.
