A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a PART TIME 3 days role. You will join a leading manufacturer in the Huntingdon area. The Maintenance Engineer will be working on a days-based position. Responsibilities: Attend to all breakdowns within the factory. Carry out primarily mechanical maintenance and fault-finding tasks. Some of the machinery is old and as such parts / components may need to be produced on site as opposed to bought in and swapped. Carry out basic electrical fault-finding Identify potential opportunities to reduce production downtime and carryout improvement activities / projects Perform corrective and PPM The Candidate: Have strong knowledge and experience in mechanical machinery and an understanding of electrical systems, 80/20Have strong workshop skills for the creation / fabrication of parts for repairs. Ideally have working experience gained within either a manufacturing, food / FMCG environment. This position is for a regular 3 day working. These days can be personal choice.8 Hour days with flexibility for start Salary: £21,000 based on pro-rata of £35k This position will suit candidates with the previous titles of: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Shift Technician, Multi skilled Engineer, Multi Skilled Technician, Resident Engineer or Resident Technician.
