Shipping Coordinator Salary: GBP14.47 Per hour PAYELocation: Birchwood, UKBenefits: 33 days annual leave inclusive of Bank holidays Pro rata Contract role: 6 months likely to extend. The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and self: reliant individual to join our busy Shipping team as a Transport Planning Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning all customer shipments, from the point of pick pack completion through to dispatch. Working in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, your role will ensure a streamlined end: to: end delivery process using SAP, in adherence to global import and export regulations. Training will be provided for Transport Planning Processes as per business requirements. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Full end: to: end responsibility of supporting the Planning Team to complete customer shipments, including the creation of associated legal documentation in compliance with global exporting regulations, such as NES Creation, EPAs, Country of Origin certs. Ensure all customer shipments are ledgered as a sale in alignment with relevant inco terms. Facilitate the freight invoice process in line with various carrier invoices through to payment, managing and highlighting exceptions through to resolution. Flexibility in work approach to meet time: sensitive deadlines and the dynamic needs of the business. This key role may require working at different times throughout the day to ensure customer shipments leave on time. Effectively manage carrier communications and time: sensitive bookings to ensure goods are dispatched in line with customer inco terms. Regular liaison via Teams with TM Team and 3PL provider : DHL, located at East Midlands Gateway, as well as other internal departments. Communication with Freight Forwarders and Carriers and telephone for booking collections, container requests, chasing late arrivals, and managing no shows, etc. The Candidate should.
