We need an experienced and strong: willed Production Planner to help ensure our planning processes are top notch from raw material to finished product. BASIC SALARY: A GBP 35,000 : A GBP 45,000 BENEFITS: A Bonus up to 10A 25 days holiday A Pension 6 company contribution A 4 x life insurance A 50 income protection LOCATION: Haverhill COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Cambridge, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree, Bishops Stortford, Ipswich, Huntingdon, Thetford, Newmarket, Stevenage JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Planner, Demand Planner : Adhesives, Industrial Consumables As our Production Planner / Demand Planner you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth production planning process from raw material getting to site to product delivery to the customer. You will also be responsible for: A Being the interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service and Production. A Ensuring correct and timely requests for raw materials. A Working in accordance with companys values, HR and HS and E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines. A Overseeing stock checks and advise on safety stock requirements. A Providing short term cover for site logistics specialist. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Production Planner, Demand Planner : Adhesives, Industrial Consumables Your planning experience will ideally come from a manufacturing environment where REACH / COSHH / COMAH regulations are a consideration. This isnt a pre: requisite but would be hugely beneficial. You will also have some experience or exposure to SAP or similar MERPS in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will have: A A good standard of education A Solid Excel capabilities and comfortable with all office systems A Excellent knowledge of production processes A A demonstratable experience in the field of Planning.
