Date Posted: 01/17/2024 Req ID: 35680 Faculty/Division: Vice-Provost for Strategic Enrolment Management Department: University Admissions and Outreach Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Position Number: 00055787 Description: About us: The Communications team of University Admissions and Outreach (UAO), in the Division of the Vice-Provost for Strategic Enrolment Management (VP-SEM), is responsible for marketing and communications of all direct entry undergraduate programs at the University to prospective students and applicants. Communications works in close collaboration with the UAO teams in Recruitment, Outreach, and Admissions, as well as the University Registrar’s Office, and divisional and campus partners. Within the UAO’s context, the Communications team is responsible for inbound and outbound marketing, internal communications, coordinating tri-campus messaging, creating content, updating websites and resources, developing marketing collateral, as well as acting as a resource for divisional/campus communications, admissions, and recruitment teams. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Admissions Communications, the incumbent manages and develops admissions communications from a central perspective, and advises on and coordinates applicant/admitted student communications from a divisional perspective. The incumbent also compiles, organizes, and oversees internal knowledge bases and relays admissions updates to internal audiences. The position involves working closely with the Office of Student Recruitment, the University Admissions team, and divisional recruitment & admissions teams toensure that a student has a seamless and positive transition from prospect to applicant. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and updating content for marketing and/or promotional materials and web properties Supporting the planning and implementation of communication plans informed by data and research.
