If you're a great communicator and able to encourage, motivate and direct a staff team, we would love to hear from you, as we may have your perfect opportunity We have a rewarding opportunity for a Local Service Manager to join our management team. This position is based at Tony Long House, while also being responsible for Maryfield. Located in a quiet area of Swindon, Tony Long House provides residential care and support for six adults with a range of learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We help people to live fulfilling lives and build the confidence and life skills they need to realise their potential and establish the foundations for independent living. There is also a cluster of 12 bungalows on the Tony Long House site with the responsibility of Housing management. Maryfield has 12 one: bedroom flats where customers aged 18+, with a range of learning disabilities and physical disabilities receive care and support. Customers are encouraged to develop and learn new skills to live as independently as possible. As a Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for effectively leading staff to ensure that all service users receive focused support. The role will ensure effective support systems are in place and also co: ordination of staff teams. Candidates should have a good understanding of CQC's strategy, regulations and standards relating to the services delivered.
