Job Description Aramark Canada is hiring an Office Manager to join the Wilfrid Laurier University food services team. Reporting to the Food Service Director, the Office Manager is responsible for monitoring internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the account’s financial statements. Job Responsibilities • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; and monitoring clerical functions. • Ensure the efficacy of internal controls and responsible for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements • Supports Food Service Director in ensuring timeliness of the month end, quarter end and year end procedures, and the production of related monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports and analysis • Provides leadership and direction in the timely preparation, control, completion and balance of the annual budget process • A strong business partner, partnering alongside but not limited to IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain • Support Food Service Director in the implementation of internal processes, overseeing they are being used properly across all the organization • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred 3-5 years’ experience in and administrative and/or finance role Strong technical accounting skills with a track record of maintaining financial disciplines and control Intermediate to advanced computer skills particularly in Excel Ensure financial affairs are conducted in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles Excellent communicator and able to explain financial issues to non-financial managers ACL123 Education About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose,.
