Position Description: This position is a contract part-time and will require someone who can work 20 hours per week. The Medical Billing Agent compiles, processes, verifies, and submits OHIP billing for payments for our Ontario clinics, specifically PFT testing (our physicians are specialists). This role includes correcting and re-submitting ALL rejected claims This role includes remittance review and processing and verifying physician payments. This role interacts with physicians and the accounting team and follows up on any unpaid claims and OHIP collections. This role requires Blue Cross pre-authorization, invoice submission via web portal Skills & Qualifications: Must have 1 year+ of experience compiling, verifying, submitting, and reconciling OHIP billing. Experience dealing with specialized physician billings and high-volume medical billing is a strong asset. Professional, organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and responsive. Familiarity with EMR (Accuro) is also a strong asset. Job Type: Part-time, Virtual Experience: OHIP and Blue Cross Billing: 1 year (minimum) Wage: S tarting at $19/ hour Powered by Jazz HR.
