Reporting to the VP of Design & Product, this is a key role responsible for setting the strategic direction and implementation of strategy for digital payment capabilities that is rooted in addressing the needs of our customers and further Scotiabank’s digital mandate. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Autonomously drive short and long-term product vision, strategy, goal setting, and execution for the established payment journeys and payment products Engage & cultivate relationships with key stakeholders from retail deposits, payments, unsecured lending, Fraud and Enterprise payments. Prioritizes, negotiate, and remove obstacles to ensure quality digital product launches. Collaborate with the Engineering & Design teams, providing them business context and engaging them to build the right products on time. Cultivates an inclusive, diverse, open, trustful, safe and fun working environment for their team where team members are energized and motivated to perform their best, charting growth plans for strong performers in the team Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 8+ years of experience in a role building customer-facing digital products, preferably focused on payments.
