Job Details Job Title: Learning and Development Standards Office : HC614383 : 2 vacancies: 1 full time/ 1 part time Location: Netley Salary: SO1 : SO2, GBP 33,915 ,036 per annum Hours:37 hours per week : 18.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Sunday 11th February 2024 at 23:59 hours Job Purpose The successful candidate willsupport Force aims and objectives through working with a client focus in the management of a wide range of Learning and Professional Development programmes. To guide and facilitate the effectiveness of learning through the application and maintenance of agreed standards of operation. Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: : Prepare and deliver information and / or training to diverse audiences. Liaise with learner and dependent roles such as trainer/coach/tutor/supervisor/line manager to ensure collaborative management of access to learning and development throughout accreditation / qualification programmes. Work with training unit managers to conduct trainer observations. Work with training unit managers to audit existing L and PD programmes against COP frameworks. Contribute to the Department's Evaluation Strategy and conduct systematic evaluations at all levels in order to provide detailed and evidenced commentary on performance, identify and highlight examples of noteworthy practice, areas for improvement and recommend actions to be taken. Carry out work: based reviews and backssment/internal verification as required for qualification and accreditation programmes under the direction of the relevant Centre Manager. Monitor and Quality assure coaching/tutor practice through periodic sampling of documentation and interviewing of learners.
