Join our mission-driven, growth-oriented Philadelphia-based healthcare practice and help build our future growth strategy and manage daily financial operations at an organization that really cares about the community. We are actively seeking a CFO to join our Executive Team. Leveraging a strong background in growing medical practices, revenue tracking and insurance billing, we seek an experienced CFO who can play an integral part as a key executive team member developing financial processes, strategies, tactical initiatives and tracking systems that help us continue on our growth curve. You will take a critical role in enabling our financial goals and daily activities Experience with healthcare finance and reimbursement is strongly desired. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you would have the opportunity to lead a complex set of operations. Supported by an Account Manager who manages the budget analysis and supporting functions, you would set strategic direction for fiscal matters and hold responsibility for fiscal performance. The CEO will take oversight of fiscal and financial management for this community-centered adult focused, primary care Medical Group. Strong experience in high-level financial leadership for large physician groups, multi-specialty clinics, and integrated delivery health systems is a must. Primary among the Chief Financial Officer's responsibilities is the development and maintenance of long-term financial decision-making that supports the overall mission and vision of Excel Medical Center. You'll get the opportunity to work with leaders throughout the network, many of whom come from very diverse backgrounds, to further develop the forward-looking financial and operational strategy for this community-based care healthcare system. The Chief Financial Officer will be joining a community founded on being a good neighbor and taking care of one another. You'll play a vital role in the development and activities of this health organization. You'll also find a competitive salary and generous benefits package await you. Key Qualifications: BA/BS in account/finance; MBA, Finance or equivalent preferred. A minimum of ten years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with at least eight years experience in reimbursement and healthcare finance/accounting A minimum of five - seven years as Controller or CFO in a medical business environment. This will require a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, insurance carrier reimbursements, and other reimbursement methodologies as well as knowledge of value-based and risk-based compensation programs The candidate must have extensive supervisory experience, and he/she must also possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills Extensive knowledge of operating and capital budget development and forecasting at the corporate level is required Candidates should have experience and a proven track record in applying strong analytical skills to support program and service investment decisions
