Responsibilities: The Internal Controls Auditor will support Barrow Wise's State of Illinois project and perform the following duties: Perform an initial detailed assessment of the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) in preparation for conducting the initial SOC 1 Type 2 audit report Conduct an annual SOC 1 Type 2 audit report of the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Communicate with the DHS-Office of Contract Administration (OCA), Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) staff, DHS IES program use staff, and HFS IES program use staff for the collection of IES system usage and network systems control during the systems audit After the completion of the initial SOC 1 Type 2 audit, schedule the annual audit cycle with the DHS-Office of Contract Administration (OCA), Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) staff, DHS IES program use staff and HFS IES program use staff. Annual SOC 1 Type 2 audits must be completed within 120 days from the audit start date. Prepare and present final reports An Ideal Candidate has the following: US Citizenship Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field (e.g., Business Management, Accounting, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Finance) Active CPA Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience conducting and issuing SOC 1 Type 2 audits Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC offers an ethical, challenging, diverse, and rewarding experience.
