This position will report to the President of the company and work closely with the rest of the corporate office. The Opportunity: Nxt is a quickly growing 3rd-party multi-family asset management company, and we need your help! This analyst will work hand in hand with executive leadership, operations, and accounting teams to create financial reports and dashboards. This is an opportunity to work for an established company, but in a new entrepreneurial role. You will not be sitting in a cubicle running the same canned reports and analyses for others to review. Your ultimate job is to help the operations teams improve the bottom line without sacrificing the quality of our service. You will have the opportunity to see your direct impact on a daily basis. The Kind of Person We're Looking For: In order to succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter who can own a project or process from start to finish. The right candidate will have not only an analytical mind but great interpersonal and team skills. You need to turn your numbers into ways to coach people and strategies that they can implement to improve operations. Essential job functions: Create reports, dashboards, and analyses to support local and regional operational teams in maximizing operational results Provide ad hoc analyses for executive leadership as required Underwrite new business opportunities Manage leads through a CRM platform Manage the annual budgeting process Utilize real estate market software to assist in new business prospecting Attend and contribute to new business pitches The Experience You'll Need: 'Jedi Master' level Excel modeling skills Strong understanding of accounting concepts Exposure to the multi-family housing industry is a plus Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database structures is a plus Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration within your own employer and partner organizations Ability to work from the corporate office in South Jordan, UT Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software Adaptability for introduction and implementation of new software and systems/templates for operational improvement and efficiency Travel as needed High degree of customer service and communication skills. Requires high level of concentration and attention to prepare, analyze, and present complex technical and financial data to aid in key decision making What we offer to our associates : A company where you can make a difference.
