Scheduled 7 days on and 7 days off, Wednesday - Tuesday, 2:00 pm - 1:00 am, with rotating holidays. Laboratory professionals are key members of our health care team. At the heart of VMH Laboratory Services is a team of caring, skilled professionals dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and quality medical care. We offer a professional network where staff can work together, serve as resources for one another and engage in system-wide problem solving. We are looking for a full time Medical Technologist to function as a generalist exhibiting full competency within the lab departments and a full scope of procedures including blood banking and microbiology. Assist with laboratory quality projects and participate in operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. PM and weekend differentials with an enhanced benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, PTO and a 401k savings plan! Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or health related field required. Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in a science or health related field (i.e., Microbiology) along with completion of a clinical laboratory internship or clinical laboratory experience may be considered.
