Description:
We seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hutchinson, MN! In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the physical asset of multi-family housing properties. Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to, building systems maintenance, apartment repairs and reconditioning, painting, minor plumbing and electrical, along with some grounds care and snow removal. Job Tasks and Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks relating to all aspects of maintenance Schedule and complete preventive maintenance Inspect units and overall property condition Minor plumbing - fixture replacement, drain snaking, leak repairs, etc. Basic electrical-fixture and device replacements, basic troubleshooting Sheetrock repair as needed Turnover unit painting when needed Maintain landscaping and grounds Snow removal and lawncare as needed Coordinate and oversee contractors Ensure repairs are within established expense limits Carry a cell phone for on-call maintenance including after-hour emergency calls Record detailed maintenance logs Submit receipts, timesheets, and mileage in timely manner Maintain professional courteous manner with all residents, contractor, and fellow employees Perform all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area Requirements Maintenance or repair experience preferred but willing to train!
