Job Summary: The purpose of the Senior Purchasing Agent is to manage the supply base for a category or categories within All Star Purchasing and serve as the purchasing subject matter expert for the category or categories. General Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Negotiates and implements new business opportunities with suppliers. Manages day-to-day business and addresses opportunities such as billing, account set up, member feedback, etc. Negotiates contracts and pricing with suppliers. Manages projects and communicates internally to gather information and assist with member requests. Analyzes Purchasing Assessment data and proposes strategies. Prepares, conducts, and follows up on supplier business review meetings. Other: Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred. Certifications and Trainings: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred.
