San Diego Post-Acute Center is looking for caring and compassionate Part time Respiratory Technician to join our Team! The Company: San Diego Post-Acute is a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in El Cajon, CA. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to all who enter our doors. Our healthcare professionals strive to help our residents reach their maximum potential in a caring and supportive environment. At San Diego Post-Acute , caring is our main concern. Our organization is built on the premise that the most effective way to provide compassionate care is to: Maintain high medical integrity Foster a team spirit among staff Create friendly, beautiful surroundings for our residents and their visitors Salary: $34-$43 per hour pending experience Shift Times: Part Time (12 hours daily/6a-6:30p or 6pm-6:30a/2 days a week/must be available weekends) Job Overview: Receives and documents the order for respiratory equipment and or services from the customer service, patient, caregiver, physician, and or family member. Collects additional information and or documentation needed from insurance or physician Assesses the need of the patient and the best choice of respiratory therapy or services needed Responsible for the instruction and education in the proper use and care of respiratory equipment according to the written policies and procedures for the patient, family, and or caregiver. Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment Qualifications: RRT (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Associate (Preferred) Respiratory therapy: 2 years (Preferred) RCP License (Preferred) Medical specialties: Geriatrics Physical setting: Inpatient Long term care Nursing home Rehabilitation center Work Location: One location We are located at: 1201 S Orange Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
